Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the services provided by Tupelo Digitizing (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Tupelo Digitizing offers professional digitization services for analog media, including VHS tapes, film reels, photographs, slides, and other formats. We convert your media into digital formats and return both the originals and digital copies.

2. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you represent that:

  • You are the legal owner of the media you submit, or you have obtained permission to have it digitized
  • The content does not infringe on copyright, trademark, or other legal rights
  • The media does not contain illegal, explicit, or harmful material

We reserve the right to refuse service if media content violates these terms.

3. Orders and Payment

Orders can be placed through our website, by phone, or in person.

  • Payment is due at the time of order or upon completion, as specified
  • We accept major credit/debit cards and other approved payment methods
  • Prices are subject to change; current pricing is listed on our website

4. Shipping and Handling

You are responsible for safely packaging and shipping your media to us. We recommend using tracking and insurance.

  • We will return your original materials along with the digital copies
  • We are not liable for delays or loss caused by shipping carriers

5. Turnaround Time

Estimated turnaround times are provided at the time of order but may vary based on volume, format, and condition of the materials. We strive to complete orders in a timely manner and will communicate any delays.

6. Risk and Liability

While we handle all media with the utmost care:

  • We are not responsible for damage to fragile, deteriorated, or previously damaged items
  • You accept the inherent risks of working with aging and delicate analog media
  • In the rare event of loss or damage caused directly by our negligence, liability is limited to the replacement cost of blank media (not sentimental value or original content)

7. Digital File Delivery

Your digitized content will be delivered via USB, DVD, cloud storage, or another agreed method.

  • Please back up your files upon receipt; we do not guarantee indefinite storage
  • Upon request, we will delete your digital files from our systems after delivery

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original media. We do not claim rights to your content and will not share or distribute it. You grant us permission to digitize and handle your media solely for the purpose of providing the requested service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone at our discretion, particularly in cases of abuse, illegal content, or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
